Steam 3 Sep and Capcom 4 Sep

Open the Steam store appdetails record for 2638890 and the date field still reads 3 Sep, 2026 for the US listing captured on 30 August 2026. Japanese and other regional Steam fields captured the same calendar day. Capcom’s English IR memo e260702 states Friday, September 4, 2026, matching the official site footer. Write 3–4 September 2026 (use the official store in your timezone) and keep both citations in view.

The previous public line was Friday, September 25, 2026. Capcom moved the date forward on 2 July 2026. That is why older press still mentions late September; it is a superseded first-party date, not a second ship window. This wiki does not treat one of the September 3/4 lines as an error in the other.

Coming_soon remained true on Steam at capture. There are no first-party review scores, unit sales, or day-one patch notes to quote yet, so this page does not forecast them.

Four platforms, six storefronts

Capcom’s official site lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. PC itself is sold on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. The table above is the captured store map, not a prediction of later SKUs.

Steam is appid 2638890. Xbox/PC share Microsoft product 9NH6PQ3L7TTP. PlayStation uses concept 10013248. Switch 2 is on Nintendo eShop and names Joy-Con 2 motion controls. A live Switch 2 demo was not present in the captured eShop record.

Regional list prices move. Steam Singapore showed a local figure at capture; other regions differ. Quote the current store price on the store you will actually buy from.

Pre-order and Early Adopter clocks are store-specific after the 2 July 2026 move. Digital extras that used to be labelled pre-order now run through 24–25 September depending on the shop. Physical SKUs, if your retailer lists them, follow that retailer — this table is digital storefront identity plus the captured demo flags.

Epic Games Store uses the slug onimusha-way-of-the-sword-3c2acc. Microsoft’s 9NH6PQ3L7TTP covers Xbox consoles and Xbox on PC. PlayStation concept 10013248 is the PS5 product concept captured with the demo flag true. Keep those ids if you need to find the listing again after a store redesign.

Game languages are not this wiki’s language set

Steam’s supported interface languages for the game are English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Arabic, Spanish (Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil), Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Full audio is listed for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese, plus Korean is interface/subtitles without the same full-audio claim in that capture row.

This wiki also publishes Turkish, Ukrainian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian pages. Those are wiki locales, not claims that the game ships a UI in those languages. Conversely, the game lists Arabic and Latin American Spanish, which this wiki does not offer as site languages.

If you need the store’s own language matrix, use the Steam page rather than assuming this site’s 14-language chrome equals in-game text.

Korean is interface and subtitles in the capture; it is not in the same full-audio set as Japanese or Simplified Chinese. Polish is interface/subtitles without the full-audio flag. Those distinctions matter more than this wiki’s extra site languages.

Which stores already have the demo

Steam’s demo appid 3974650 has been live since 2 June 2026. PlayStation and Xbox captures also flagged a demo. Nintendo eShop for Switch 2 did not list one at capture, even though the full game is a Switch 2 SKU with Joy-Con 2 motion controls. Recheck that eShop rather than assuming the Steam trial exists there.

Official notes on the trial still apply on every store that carries it: the save will not continue into retail, the demo differs in some regards from the full game, and Charm: Kubi Akari is the reason to keep the file. Those sentences belong on the Demo page in full; they are here only so the platform table is not read as “demo everywhere.”

If a console store removes or adds a demo after 30 August 2026, the live store wins. This capture is a snapshot, which is why the UTC timestamp sits under the intro.
